From the recesses of her mind's eye, she peers through a slight crack
The darkness of night forced a chill upon her skin. dilation in it's pupil.
With it's help, she watches closely, catching precise details of the attack
Before the horrors of realizing she was defenseless, alone-prey for the kill
Bearing witness to the brutal rape and attempted murder scene!
She dare not scream, cry or breathe more than this shallow hiss;
A mob of drunken men rape then try to kill a woman before they are seen;
Unluckily for her, she is not only the victim, but also the one witness.
Her inner mind aching to lash out, warns, Dont make a sound, not a peep!
lungs burning, consciousness fading, heart of anguish goads her on forward;
It is nearly too late to regain the ability summon help or in disgust weep;
Alas! Some beasts who are suppose to human beings act like an unruly herd!
Her body unmercifully battered , she struggled to her feet, intent upon making a call
to get the assistance she needed in saving her life, and arresting the attackers
So another female never again is their victim, making her feel ashamed to contact the law
Even worse, feel as if she led them on, instead of deep down knowing they're sick fuckers
